While in the field I enjoy using off camera flash to create ideal portrait lighting to enhance the ambient light. Sometimes it looks better if you overpower the sun and completely change the ambient light on the subject's face. I currently use Godox lights. My main light is the Godox AD-600 alongside a few TT685s speedlights.
This is from a shoot with my friend Caleb Ellis at Lake Mary in Flagstaff. We took his F-150 out to the lake and I posed him alongside his truck.
